George was selected by members to be Deputy Chair of the Keighley and Ilkley Conservative Association in 2024. He has been involved with the association for over three years and in 2024 stood in the local elections for Craven ward. In this election George increased the Conservative vote in the ward by almost 500 votes compared to 2023.
